IHA is seeking volunteers!

IHA is looking for a few volunteers to assist with various office administration duties! We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in coming to the office on a weekly basis (Monday-Friday) with hours falling between 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM.

Office Administration Duties

  • Assist staff with a variety of office duties including answering phones, monitoring the lobby/front desk, maintaining paper files, scanning and shredding documents, organizing marketing materials, assembling informational packets for financial education clients, registering financial education participants for workshops and credit café.

Purchase Repair Homeownership Program

  • Program manager seeks assistance with sending out program information packets, keeping participant worksheet and postage tracker up to date, determining whether a client is pre-qualified using excel spreadsheets designed by USDA, assembling client files after appointments, sending out verifications (deposits, employment, childcare, rent, etc.), tracking verification process using excel spreadsheets, scanning and shredding files.
