Credit Café Program
What to expect from Credit Café?
First part is a 1 hour group workshop where general credit tips, tricks and strategies are provided that all participants could find useful in their pursuit to improve, maintain, or boost their credit scores and/or overall report. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
Send an email to Lacy Allen at lames@interfaithhousing.org to get started in the registration process.
Second part is a 30 minute personalized credit report review session to occur within one week of completing the group workshop. A FREE tri-merged credit report is provided for this meeting by IHA. During this private meeting a Credit Counselor will help guide the participant to make a strategic plan to help them apply what they learned in the workshop towards their personal credit report.
Third part is another 30 minute personalized credit report review session to occur six months after the original credit report review session took place. A brand new FREE tri-merged credit report is provided. The Credit Counselor will review any progress made with the participant and help participant make new goals to continue forward on their credit journey!

Step 1: Review Upcoming Credit Café Workshop ScheduleList Item 1
Group Workshop is the first part of the Credit Cafe Program. Please review upcoming dates/times above and select the one that fits your schedule best.

Step 2: Email Program Manager with Request to RegisterList Item 2
Email Lacy Allen at lames@interfaithhousing.org expressing interest in your chosen date/time to attend and request a Credit Cafe registration form.

Step 3: Complete Credit Café Registration FormList Item 3
The Credit Cafe registration form will be emailed to you via a secure signature request portal called Dropbox Sign that allows you to complete the form through a link in your email and there is no need for a scanner/printer.

Step 4: Receive Emailed Details on How/Where to Attend WorkshopList Item 4
Information on how/where to attend your Credit Cafe group workshop will be emailed to you 2 days before the event. (Currently workshop is 100% virtual via zoom)

Step 5: Attend 1 Hour Group Workshop
Attend the group workshop. At the end of the workshop, you will schedule your personalized 30 minute credit report review session.

Step 6: Attend 30 Minute Credit Report Review
Attend a VIRTUAL 30 minute credit report review session with a credit counselor who will have a FREE copy of your tri-merged credit report to review with you.

Step 7: Work on your Credit Goals
For the next six months, work through the goals/strategies set towareds improving your credit. The Credit Counselor is available via text/call/email for additional support/questions during this time.

Step 8: Attend a 6 Month Credit Report Review
Attend a second 30 minute credit report review sesssion with a credit counselor to review the progress you've made towards your credit goals. Receive a 2nd FREE brand new tri-merged Credit Report and set new credit goals.
Programs greatly depend on donations from the faith community, businesses, foundations, and individuals.
