Get Involved While economic conditions in each of the counties in our service area differ greatly, there still remain thousands of families, senior citizens, and individuals who are living in substandard housing. Whether the issue is that the higher cost of housing has priced them out of the market or that opportunities for a living wage have disappeared, the need can be measured in census data and social service requests. Many pay more than 50% of their income for housing. As a consequence, to afford housing, they often must do without basic necessities such as nourishing food, safe child care, and medical care. Interfaith Housing Alliance has provided a decent, affordable home for more than 800 of these residents. With your help, we can continue to build a brighter future for our region. You can help us by making a donation, by volunteering your time, or by advocating affordable housing.
